Please join us for our PEC-ALL meeting to learn more about involving children in clinical research!
The session will be focused on the experience of involving children and young people in the design and conduct of paediatric health research. We will present examples of involvement mainly through the forum of Young Person’s Advisory Groups (YPAGs) who have a remit to develop partnerships with research to identify unmet medical needs, input into the design of protocols, design age appropriate information through to the validation and dissemination of lay summaries. Patient-centric projects require early involvement of patients and when they are clinical trials for the paediatric population the right professionals with expertise of working with children and young people. Our talk will highlight how networks such as the European Young Person’s Advisory Group Network (eYPAGnet), recognized by EnprEMA helps sponsors to perform patient-centric projects with children and young people.
