more about Mobilise-D and its implications for improving patient engagement and
representation in clinical research.
Moblise-D is a 5-year project to
validate healthcare technologies related to mobility, such as gait. The
consortium includes more than 150 professionals from 34 participating
universities, hospitals, and industry with the necessary technical, clinical,
and regulatory expertise to work together over a five-year period (2019-2024)
to reach the common goal of improving the accurate assessment of daily life
mobility in clinical trials and patient treatment. Mobilise-D will focus on
five different patient cohorts that together represent respiratory problems
(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease – COPD), neurodegenerative conditions
(Parkinson’s disease – PD), neuroinflammatory problems (multiple sclerosis –
MS), osteoporosis and sarcopenia (hip fracture recovery/proximal femoral
fracture – PFF), and cardiac pathology (congestive heart failure – CHF).
Solange Corrieo-Rohou, AstraZeneca,
will lead the discussion, and we invite you to share your comments and
experiences related to daily mobility challenges.
