Do join me in congratulating Karla Haack, New Chair of the DIA Global Medical Writing Community. I have been leading the DIA Global Medical Writing Community for a while now, and it is my pleasure to pass on the baton to Karla Haack, Sr. Medical Writer, Merck.
Karla Haack is a Senior Medical Writer in Clinical and Regulatory Strategic Communications at Merck and Co, where she works collaboratively to author pre-approval regulatory documents. She uses her more than 10 years of Physiology research and teaching experience to translate complex scientific data into clear, concise deliverables. She looks forward to leveraging her experience building and engaging communities and strategic planning with other professional societies to contribute meaningfully with the DIA Global MW Community.
Karla brings to the table, not only her expertise, but also a great deal of passion towards building and growing this community. Please extend all your support to Karla!
