As an Associate Director for Diversity and Patient Engagement at Bristol-Myers Squibb, I pull together initiatives through collaboration with Advocacy groups and community organizations to help engage patients in our clinical research. My most recent campaign, called “I Am Not A Trial,” features real young adults with cancer sharing their stories of clinical trial participation. Our intent is for these patients to inspire their peers to explore clinical research options with their doctors. We are leveraging social media to promote the campaign.
